Everyday Casual For The Family

HI DARLINGS! Well school is in session and the kids are all set with back to school clothes thanks to OLD NAVY. I am lucky that my kids still let me shop for them (for now anyway, lol)  but they certainly have opinions so when we shop together I always use a few “shopping rules” that make things easier on all of us.

For example… The pieces must work together so that we get the most use out of them, they can choose a print and then two solids from the colors in the print so that we can mix and match easily. The pants need to be loose enough to be comfortable but not baggy etc.

Allowing them to pick their clothes gives them a sense of individuality and they enjoy the process more. My daughter loves to mix and match prints… so much so that sometimes I gotta pull it back a bit, lol but overall she does great. Like mixing the small floral print with leopard flats which works as a neutral.

My floral top and leopard shoes worked great with my boyfriend jeans too. I usually can’t find a pair that fits well but these are great! they have the perfect amount of stretch which is the key to a good boyfriend jean.

 You may have noticed we have a new addition to the family… Meet buttons our puppy.

My son, just like his mom loves camouflage so he picked this great T-shirt and then a light blue button up. His OLD NAVY FLEX SLIM jeans are perfect for moving, jumping and playing.

Now that we have done the bulk of back to school shopping we can easily add pieces through out the year that will work with what we already have.
