DIY SLEEVELESS JUMPSUIT + PR V9075
Hi Darlings, Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend and for my mom’s, I hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day. I spent most of my day working, lol and since I am traveling today I am keeping this post a tad bit short. I made this awesome jumper again, but sleeveless this time (PREVIOUS POST HERE) I really love that at first glance it looks like a dress but it’s in fact a jumpsuit.
This fabric is a gorgeous rayon I got HERE but I think this color-way is sold out…HERE is another option as well as THIS one and THIS one. I love this pattern so much and if you missed my first review on it I posted it again below. Make sure you use my DISCOUNT CODE act checkout to get 10% off your purchase “MIMI10”
DIY Jumpsuit (Pattern and info below) / Steve Madden White Heels (old)
Pattern Description: Misses Jumpsuit Vogue 9075
Pattern Sizing: I cut the 6
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, this is a no fuss pattern. It sewed up quickly and the princess seams on the bodice make it easy to fit since I always end up needing to make a small bust adjustment.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love a jumpsuit and I love culottes so this was a win win.
Fabric Used: I used a rayon print I found in LA. HERE are some cool rayon prints that will work great.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I made a slight adjustment to my bust and I added to the crotch because I made them and found them to be a tad “choking” so I took it apart at the waist and ended up only using a 1/4″ seam allowance so I had some more room. I suggest adding at least an 1″ to the crotch.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? YES!!! and Yes!!!!
