DIY HIGH LOW SHIRTDRESS

I am so excited about this issue; we have some amazing projects and guests like the beautiful Jasika Nicole who did a full step-by-step sandal making project for you guys and seamstress extraordinaire Erica Bunker who shared her preferred neckline finish with a step-by-step how to. The
The FREE PATTERNS in the June issue are great! We are so excited about them we are sharing some pics today. Today’s #DIY is from the June issue so no worries you can grab your copy tomorrow, which of course, includes this shirtdress and a great button-up shirt for the fellas.
The fabric I used is a 100% linen from FABRIC.COM (make sure to use SEWSEWDEF for 10% off your first fabric order) I ICE DYED this gorgeous fabric and it came out so beautiful. If you missed that step-by-step, you could check it out HERE. If you plan to make a garment with your fabric make sure to Ice Dye the entire yardage then cut your pattern pieces, you don’t want to cut, ice dye and then have your fabric shrink.
The shirtdress below is the second view of the freebie pattern shown with no collar or bell sleeve, the other view can be seen in the June issue.
