DIY Buffalo Plaid Coat + DIY Clutch
Hi Darlings! I am OBSESSED with this BUFFALO PLAID and this jacket is now my new best friend. I picked this gorgeous fabric at MICHAEL LEVINE a few days ago… You can find it HERE.
I used that same MCCALL pattern I used for my “burberry-esque” coat I made in December…you can see that POST HERE. I made one slight modification to the length because I wanted a shorter chic jacket for this amazing plaid. I took off about 9″ of length and didn’t add a buttonhole but no other changes were made to the pattern, I sewed it up same as the last.
STYLE IT! I wanted to create a very classic look so I rocked a white V-NECK TEE from the GAP with my PRECISION SKINNY JEANS from the GAP. I also had some extra fabric to make a matching clutch! I filmed a tutorial for YouTube that I will post on Friday for you guys, It is super quick and easy. I have on my favorite boots from TOPSHOP and my CHANEL Vintage Earrings. My chainlink necklace is from FOREVER 21 and my “DARLING” necklace was a gift from a dear friend.
