WOOL KNIT DRESS WITH CONTRASTING POCKETS, BELT AND SLEEVES

HI DARLINGS! I am wishing you all a wonderful Monday.  I had a good weekend, the best part was seeing my friend Christina on Sunday night for dinner and going to church, it was a great sermon and I left feeling empowered and thankful.

Today I am rocking the dress from my SIMPLICITY PATTERN #8466. I love modifying even my own patterns lol. I made it in a wool knit blend and used a contrast textured knit for the pockets, sleeves, and belt. It’s a subtle element but adds a lot to the dress. You can see the texture in some of the images below. I also made buttonholes on the pockets and added gold buttons and also made myself a belt with gold D-rings. I wore nude shoes, gold earrings, and my Louis Vuitton sunglasses.

I couldn’t find the contrast fabric online but HERE is the wool blend I used.
