HI DARLINGS, Today is a warm and fab day in LA and although I am headed to the office I plan to open all the windows and let the fresh air in. As you can imagine we are up to our eyeballs in magazine stuff for May but I managed to film a fabric haul video that will go up on Friday and I managed to sew a couple things too.
This pattern has been in my stash for a LONG time and I have had it on my cutting table for months so I finally decided to make it after finding this super cute fabric at THE FABRIC STORE. The pattern review is below and although this pattern is discontinued you can probably still find it in the pattern drawers of Joann or online.
STYLED IT: Jessica Simpson Heels (old) / Prada Sunnies / Kate Spade Jewelry
Pattern Description: Misses Dress
Pattern Sizing: I cut the 8
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yeah, this was pretty straight forward. The Way they created the pleats was interesting.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love a good shirt dress and this one had cool details that I really liked.
Fabric Used: Poly blend
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None
Would you sew it again? I might, in a solid.

The Freak Circus begins with an invitation and ends with a question you cannot close. This horror game uses the structure of a visual novel game to dismantle the comfort of narrative distance. You read, you click, you advance, but the story starts reading you back. Performers describe acts that never occur on screen, and the descriptions are worse than any animation could be. The text box is a tight space, and the game knows how to make it tighter. Horror here is not something that enters the room. It is something that was already in the text, waiting for you to notice.
This shirt dress looks fantastic on you! It's always great to finally make something that's been in the stash for ages, especially with such cute fabric. Sometimes finding the right material feels like Trees Hate You, but you definitely nailed it here!
