The Perfect Knit Dress for the Holidays
Hi Darlings! I am so excited about this perfect knit dress for the holidays. I knew when Simplicity.com released this Vogue #2064 pattern that I was making it. I love a good turtleneck dress and the long sleeves with the thumb holes are just too cozy to resist. The flow of the dress at the hem is beautiful and lucky for me I had the perfect jersey knit in my stash in this merlot color that I picked up from Joann a few months back.
The dress is perfect to wear with heels or boots and great for layering if you wanted with a cute coat or blazer. The pattern itself isnt that difficult which is nice for a Vogue pattern. I did omit the zipper because I knew I would just be able to pull the dress over my head. My fabric is very stretchy and I used a stretch stitch so I could make the turtleneck snug but still get it over my head.
