THE BEST DIY VELVET DRESS EVER + PATTERN REVIEW #S1059

HI DARLINGS! I LOVE THIS DRESS!!! Okay let me calm it down but seriously I love this dress so much. I love the fabric, I love the style and I love how easy this SIMPLICITY JIFFY VINTAGE PATTERN was to sew up when I am short on time.

I bought this awesome velvet fabric at THE FABRIC STORE LA and when I brought it to the office I looked up a pattern to use and I knew this JIFFY #1059 was going to be perfect. I love the sleeves, the belt, the pleat at the shoulder… (pattern review below)

Anyway! I wore it with my red bottoms and simple jewelry, I wanted a very classic and elegant look. Call the store and see if they have any fabric left, its amazing trust me. xoxo

Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes it did.
