#TBT DIY Dress

Hi Darlings, I am preparing for my trip back to Los Angeles next week so I am leaving you today with a good ol’ TBT (throw back Thursday) post. This is one of my favorite dresses. I have made this one twice and plan to make it again in red. The pattern review is below in case you missed it the first time around in December of 2013.

Pattern Description: Misses Dress V8825
Fabric Used: ITY Knit HERE (other options) HERE (Use my code MIMI10 for 10% OFF your fabric purchase)
Pattern Sizing: I Cut the 8 (31B, 24W, 33.5H) and had to shave it down a lot. I took out almost 3″ off the skirt portion and 2″ off the top. I also added 2.5″ in length.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done? Yes
Were the instructions easy to follow? This is a Vogue “Easy” so yes I found it to be rather straight forward. There are no confusing steps that I noticed.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love the wrap front, the sleeves and the tie belt which is attached to the dress.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added length and had to shave it down some to fit.
Would you sew it again? YEP, I have so many dress patterns to sew 😉 but this is a winner for sure.
Would you recommend it to others? YES!
Mình có lần lướt đọc mấy bình luận trên mạng thì thấy có người nhắc tới kkwin com trong lúc câu chuyện đang nói dở. Mình mở ra xem qua trong thời gian ngắn, chủ yếu để nhìn bố cục và cách sắp xếp nội dung tổng thể. Nhìn nhanh thấy trình bày khá gọn, không bị rối nên mình đọc lướt một chút rồi quay lại xem các bình luận khác.
Mình có lần lướt đọc mấy bình luận trên mạng thì thấy nhắc tới TG88, nên cũng tò mò vào xem thử cho biết. Mình không tìm hiểu sâu, chỉ xem qua trong thời gian ngắn để nắm bố cục và cách sắp xếp nội dung. Cảm giác chung là trình bày khá gọn, các mục rõ ràng nên nhìn không bị rối. Với mình, chỉ cần như vậy là đủ để tham khảo nhanh khi cần, không mất nhiều thời gian.
I remember reading through a long comment thread online where the discussion was moving in different directions. Somewhere in the middle, someone mentioned PHSKY while continuing their point. I kept reading the rest of the thread as it went on, without paying special attention to that detail, and then moved on to other comments.
Mình thường có thói quen đọc thêm vài trang tổng hợp số liệu để xem cách mỗi nơi trình bày khác nhau thế nào. Có lần đọc một bài trên soi cau 247, nội dung chủ yếu là gom lại các kết quả gần đây rồi phân tích theo từng nhịp. Mình đọc từ đầu tới cuối cho trọn mạch, coi như thêm một góc nhìn tham khảo, chứ cũng không chú ý riêng một chi tiết nào.
Mình có lần lướt đọc mấy bình luận linh tinh trên mạng thì thấy có người nhắc tới nổ hũ, nên cũng tò mò xem thử cho biết nội dung ra sao. Mình không tìm hiểu sâu, chỉ xem qua trong thời gian ngắn để nắm ý chính, chủ yếu là nhìn cách trình bày và bố cục tổng thể. Cảm giác chung là nội dung sắp xếp khá gọn, đọc không bị rối, xem nhanh là hiểu được cơ bản.
