HI DARLINGS! I hope you all have a fun weekend planned. We are so excited to announce SEW IT IDS EDITION is now live. SEW IT KIDS EDITION is an online class for kids ages 8-14 years old. We cover everything from start to finish, so if you have never even touched a sewing machine (mom or dad), you will have no problem helping your child along. We start with the unboxing of a sewing machine and go through all the parts, pieces and functions.
This is the first of several more courses we are developing for kids/teens. We are starting with this first INTRO TO SEWING #101 and will be expanding on our courses and projects every few months.
Unlike SEW IT ACADEMY for women and men which is a monthly subscription with new courses added monthly. SEW IT KIDS is a bundled course with a one time payment of $39.99. The kid’s course is downloadable as part of your purchase.

It’s really nice to see more creative, hands-on learning options like this for kids, especially something practical like sewing where they can actually build real skills step by step. It reminds me a bit of how I got into more detailed DIY hobbies at home. I still check this page when looking for ideas, and I’ve also bought small lights, cables, and power supplies for my LEGO builds. Even though it’s a different kind of creativity, the idea is similar - learning patience, working with your hands, and turning simple materials into something you’re proud of.
