HI DARLINGS! On Friday I posted my PURPLE LINEN SUIT, and you guys loved it so much. This suit look might be my favorite sewn garment in a long time. The color of the suit is so pretty, and the shoes I wore broke the internet, lol!

However, I think it’s so important that you make the most of your sewn garments. We all need a little style inspiration so I thought it would be a good idea if I started making style videos of my DIY clothes to help you guys see the many looks you can get from one piece or in this case two, a suit jacket and pants.

I used my  SIMPLICITY 8749 PATTERN which also has sew-along videos HERE, and HERE so you can sew with me.

This first look is my go to, I love sneakers and a suit and wearing a crisp white tee, and some bright white sneakers is a great look. You could also wear this with flat and even sandals during the summer.

The jacket is a great piece to have in your wardrobe. You can throw on a great blazer and be totally chic! This look is a simple change of the suit pants to jeans for an even more casual look.

I love this look. The blazer belted with a maxi skirt is a fantastic look for both night and day and great for work too. Change your accessories and make up for a day to night look and depending on the fabric of your skirt (my skirt is a

DIY I made and posted HERE.

Take off the blazer and throw on a denim jacket with your suit slacks and you are ready to run errands or grab lunch with friends.

One of my favorite things to do is to belt my blazer. This is a great casual everyday look with some jeans and booties. You can also wear heels or sneakers with your jeans and belted blazer.

This is another excellent way to wear your suit pants. Add a pretty sweater or top and a fun leopard print shoe for a great date night look!

Which is your favorite look? I hope these videos are helpful and give you style ideas for your DIY looks. Make sure an leave me a comment if you enjoyed this post!!
