MY DIY DRESS USING MCCALL #7838 MODIFIED

HI DARLINGS! I am going to keep this short because I am literally on my flight to Puerto Rico to start my birthday vacation and I need to get this done before I land so I can just relax and enjoy the next 14 days lol. This dress is what I wore on my LIVE SEGMENT on KTLA NEWS, I had a great time talking about SEWITACADEMY.COM and how people can learn to sew.

FABRIC AND PATTERN

I posted a snapshot of this a week or so ago and had to take proper pictures for you. This is a button-up shirt pattern (MCCALL’s #7838) that I extended to make a dress and added side pockets for the win! LOL. It is one of my favorite makes. The FABRIC is from MOOD and I am not sure if it is still online but I will double-check and will link it on my INSTAGRAM.

THE FINISHED LOOK

I kept it simple with nude heels to elongate my legs, my Gucci shades and and necklace from Zara a while back.
