Monochromatic Look + Flared Mimi G Pants
Hi Darlings! Okay I am on my way to LA so today’s post is just about my awesome red pants and cool monochromatic look lol. These are made from my Simplicity Pattern #1283. The pattern is designed for double knits but you know I always design with options in mind. I knew when I designed these for Simplicity that I would be making them in a stretch woven too.
I used a super stretch denim found HERE and I cut out the pattern one size larger than I normally would and just fit them as I went along. I knew I could always take them in to make them tighter but couldn’t add to them once cut, so the size larger assured I would be ok. I cut and sewed them exactly like I show you in the free Step by Step Video Tutorial HERE nothing changed except the fabric.
I LOVE these pants and I will be making them in several colors of stretch denim and twill. If you have yet to pick up the pattern you can do so HERE.
