ME MADE MUST HAVE 9 AND 10: THE DENIM JACKET AND T-SHIRT DRESS

HI DARLINGS! I did it. I made all 10 garments for my ME MADE MUST HAVE self-challenge and I made a video which I posted on my YOUTUBE channel going through all the pieces I made. If you are just checking in and have missed my ME MADE MUST HAVE PLANS  check out  THESE posts. Today is #9 and #10!

First the T-shirt dress, this is my favorite style of dress for everyday wear and I knew I wanted to make one using a PDF pattern called THE NETTIE by CLOSET CASE. I love the fit, the style, the low back and I can make it longer when I need to or shorter. Its a quick and easy dress which I highly recommend. I used a lightweight stretch jersey from my stash.

Okay, now the denim jacket is also a PDF pattern from ALINA DESIGN & CO. It is the perfect denim jacket pattern and she has an extensive amount of picture tutorials on her site. I love all the classic details and how well it came together. I used a really great soft denim I got from MICHALE LEVINE (no longer available) some time ago. I washed my jacket 4 times to soften it and get that worn look after I made it. I can’t wait to make it again in a white denim for spring.
