ICE DYED REVERSIBLE SCARF AND GIVEAWAY!
HI DARLINGS! I partnered with Rit Dye to bring you the coolest thing ever… Ice Dyeing. I had been stalking blogs looking at really creative ways to dye fabric using Rit Dye. It’s so easy to use, nontoxic and I can dye almost any fabric. Aside from using Rit Dye to make your own amazing textiles, you can also use it to refresh items you already have. I also love that I can use it for home decor projects, wood, throw rugs and so much more. I have a feeling you are going to see a lot more projects soon, lol
Rit Dye is so awesome that I decided to make a reversible scarf/headwrap and then give it away! Yep, you have a chance to win my awesome one of a kind creation by leaving a comment below and telling me how you are “dyeing” to use Rit Dye.
But that’s not all; I want you to be able to try your hand at ice dyeing using Rit Dye so below is a step by step on creating this awesome project. You can use any of their 32 base colors and over 500 additional colors that you can achieve by mixing their dyes, including Pantone seasonal colors of the year.
Okay now for the fun part.

Tub
Rack
Fabric (I suggest using a natural fiber, I used linen)
Rit Dye (3-4 colors) Powder
Gloves
Ice
Rit Dye Color Stay

There are some variables here, depending on the size of ice you use and or how much you ball up your fabric you will get different results, That is, however, the best part, you never know what it will look like.

Once the fabric had dried it looked even more magnificent! I couldn’t wait to sew it up. I ironed them out and laid them on top of each other.
