HI GUYS! I wanted to share my latest shoemaking adventure. I picked up this printed leather at Tandy Leather a few weeks ago and I couldn't wait to make some shoes with it. I love a great platform so I decided to make some inspired by another pair of platforms I purchased last year.
I am obsessed with shoemaking and every time I make a pair of shoes I amaze myself, LOL! These were a lot of fun to make. I have made platforms before so this pair only took me about 5 hours from start to finish. I bought a sewing machine for my shoemaking, it's an industrial machine that sews through layers and leather just like butter! It is the SAILRITE. It's such a compact but powerful machine and I am loving it.

These floral platform shoes turned out so fun! I love the bold print and how the platform style makes the whole level devil - not a troll game design stand out. Five hours to make a pair is seriously impressive too.
