DIY SUMMER RUFFLED TOP AND WIDE LEG PANTS USING MCCALL 7757
HI DARLINGS! Wooohooo I am back. I finally settled into the new house and found time to start sewing, I have so many things to make and videos to record that I am so excited to get started. I had a hard time getting back into the swing of things and couldn’t find my SEWJO, it was driving me crazy. I finally went fabric shopping and made myself a sewing plan for the summer. Hopefully, I can get most of it sewn so I have some stuff to take on our honeymoon. I can’t tell you how much this little set has me ready for the summer!
PATTERN AND FABRIC INFO
PATTERN: This is the MCCALL 7757 top with a modification to the pants. I didn’t want an elastic waistband so I gathered and attached it to the waistband I made. The pattern is very easy and quick to sew, I had both pieced made in less than 3 hours.
FABRIC: This amazing rayon is from MOOD FABRICS. I love the stripe/floral combo and I knew it would look great in this two-piece.
STYLED IT: I wore this great straw hat I got at Target I think and these great YELLOW SANDALS from ZARA.
