DIY STRIPED SHIRT DRESS + PATTERN REVIEW S8340
HI DARLINGS! I hope you are all having a wonderful Tuesday. We are crazy busy at the studio gearing up for the launch of SEW SEW DEF® but I did manage to squeeze in a few sew days so I would have some #DIY’s to post. This SIMPLICITY PATTERN #8340 is everything! I am going to make so many modified versions of this pattern, lol.
You can check out my pattern review below, and my fabric is from THE FABRIC STORE give them a call and see if they have it in stock.

Pattern Sizing: I cut the 6 and graded to an 8 at the hips
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes sort of.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes, this is pretty straight forward. If you have ever made a button up shirt you can certainly make this. If you haven’t join the SEW IT ACADEMY
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love a shirt dress!
Fabric Used: Striped Poly Blend
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I extended the longest version (A) by 6″ I also did not add pockets to this one but plan to make it again with pockets 😉
Would you sew it again? YES YES YES!!

Thank you SIMPLICITY, FISKARS, FABRIC.COM, BABYLOCK, THE FABRIC STORE and MICHAEL LEVINE for supporting this years 6th annual and final conference!
