HI DARLINGS! Happy Tuesday. First, let me say thank you for all the love on my latest SIMPLICITY FALL PATTERNS. If you missed those posts you can read them HERE & HERE. I can’t wait to see you guys making them and sharing them on social, please make sure to tag me so we can share your pics.
Okay now on to these PDF patterns, the pants are the PIETRA PANTS by CLOSET CORE and the OGDEN CAMI by TRUE BIAS. Both great patterns and I look forward to making them again, I have made the cami several times but the pants are a first. I like the look but I did have to make some adjustments. I think the fabric I used wasn’t the greatest for these because for my body shape they n need to be a bit more fitted and this is a woven non-stretch rayon that needs to fall away from the body a bit. I made them work but f I make it again I will use something with a bit of stretch and a bit more weight.
THE LOOK

This DIY post on the Pietra pants and Ogden cami is really inspiring and packed with helpful tips for anyone wanting to elevate their sewing projects. I love how you break down each step in a way that makes it feel doable even for someone who might be intimidated by garment sewing.
While reading, I took a moment to check some related community feedback on service experiences at how to contact freebird stores and found a mix of perspectives that reminded me how important good support is when trying new patterns or materials. It’s interesting to see how service quality can shape our overall craft experience.
