DIY KNIT DRESS USING VOGUE #1633

HI DARLINGS! First, let me start by saying that I am back to recording my PODCAST and the first episode of SEASON 3 is up now. Ok, now let’s talk about the sleeves if this dress and how great they are. This VOGUE #1633 pattern is pretty cool and it’s a simple sew even with the sleeve detail. I wanted to make mine out of a double knit in a burnt orange which I grabbed from MOOD FABRICS. It is a stable fabric with some stretch.

I made a slight change to the turtleneck because on the envelope it is pretty flimsy and I wanted more structure so I cut it slightly smaller and added interfacing.

Aside from that, it was pretty straight forward. I love the style of the dress but don’t need more than one of these so I will probably not make this again.

THE LOOK

I wore my knee-high boots from STEVE MADDEN, I have big calves so these are great because they have elastic on the sides.
