DIY BANDED VNECK TOP TURNED DRESS USING MCCALL’S 7657

HI DARLINGS! Yay, it’s Friday. I had such a busy week that all I want to do this weekend is sleep. Do you guys have plans? I was hoping to get some “just for me” sewing but not sure that is gonna happen. I did get to sew up this DIY V NECK BANDED TOP which was so fun to make using MCCALL 7657  a week or so ago. I knew I was going to make it a dress using VIEW D. The fabric I used is a really yummy midweight crepe I had in my stash in a really cool rusty color. I wasn’t sure about it at first but after I made it I was all in and ready for some more rust in my life, lol.

MODIFICATIONS: I added 5″ to the gathered peplum, slimmed the bodice because it was a little boxy. I shortened the sleeve because apparently, I have shorts arms, lol.

STYLED IT: Opaque Tights | Tom Ford Sunnies | H&M Earrings | Steve Madden Booties (old)
